‘My Ex and Why’s’ grosses ₱31.5 million on its first day


The highly anticipated romantic comedy movie “My Ex and Why’s,” starring rumored couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, is currently enjoying a massive success in its first day after earning ₱31.5 million, according to Star Cinema.

Star Cinema took to Instagram to share the news that “My Ex’ and Why’s” grossed ₱27 million but updated the earnings to ₱31.5 million. The romantic comedy film has one of the biggest opening day gross for all Filipino films.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, “My Ex and Whys” is a story about a blogger Calli (Soberano) and her ex-boyfriend Gio (Enrique). The film was released on February 15 and is available in most cinemas nationwide.
