Kapamilya Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo is nominated for the Best Southeast Asian Act category for the MTV- Europe Music Awards 2014.
This was formally announced on the official website of the said music award giving body, Sarah will be up against other Asian acts such as NOAH of Indonesia, Yuna from Malaysia, Stefanie Sun of Singapore and Thailand’s Slot Machine.
This is not the first time the Pop Star Princess was nominated for an award outside of the country, in the year 2013 she was also nominated in the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for the Favorite Asian Act category.
Another Filipino artist who got a Wild Card Contender in the same prestigious award giving body is the band Up Dharma Down, they just need to gain more tweets so they could be nominated for the Best Southeast Asian Category. The announcement of who made it through the Wild Card Category is by September 16, 2014.
The MTV Europe Music Awards 2014 will be held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, United Kingdom on November 9, 2014.
