The Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 announced the Eight (8) movies that made it to the list of 2016 MMFF festival. One of the obvious thing noticed on the list is the absence of entries from Vic Sotto, Vhong Navarro and Vice Ganda.
Fans of the annual festival asked “What is a festival without Vic, Vhong and Vice? Some even chidded that letter “V” might be unlucky this year.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz on his weekly radio program “OMJ” on DZMM, Mae Paner, one of the members of the screening committe said they had to review 27 films all in all and change is definitely coming to MMFF 2016.
Mae added that they made sure that all genre were represented which will give the entries the much needed balance at the box-office.
Vic’s Enteng Kabisote 10, Vice Ganda and Coco’s Super Parental Guardian, Vhong’s “Mang Kepweng Returns” will not be shown in cinemas for this MMFF 2016.
The movies that made it to he “Magic 8” are: Vince & Kath & James; Die Beautiful; Seklusyon; Kabisera; Sunday Beauty Queen; Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2 #ForeverIsNotEnough; Oro; and Saving Sally.
