Her beautiful smile never faded on MJ Lastimosa’s face even though she did not bagged the crown for the Miss Universe 2014.
Despite not winning the title, Miss Philippines Mary Jean ‘MJ’ Lastimosa said through her Instagram account that she is grateful for the love and support given to her during the competition.
“So proud to be a filipino! Man, cant express how grateful i am to everyone! Im filled with love right now! Love you all! Godbless us! Mabuhay!” said MJ.
Meanwhile, former beauty queens congratulated MJ for representing the country and shared how proud they are of her.
“Congratulations @mj_lastimosa for making it to the Top 10 at 63rd Annual #MissUniverse Pageant! We’re still proud of you!” posted Miss Universe first runner up Miriam Quiambao on her Instagram.
While Miss Universe 2012 first runner up Janine Tugonon congratulated MJ through Twitter and 1993 Miss World second Princess Ruffa Gutierrez can’t hide her sadness about the result:
