King of Talk Boy Abunda grilled the prominent beauty queen about her romantic affiliation on the Wednesday episode (January 27, 2016) of the Kapamilya late night entertainment talk show program “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”

The veteran host said that in a previous interview with Pia, the beauty queen confessed that at that time, someone was making her happy.
Now that she is back home, Boy once again asked Pia about the current state of her love life. Pia explained the reason why her “special friend” is no longer a part of her life by saying,
“This (Miss Universe crown and title) is present in my life. I’m not saying this because pinagpalit ko siya. Pinagpalit niya ako.”
