Among 84 contestants from all around the globe, our representative for the international pageant Miss Earth 2014, Jamie Herrell, won the crown last November 29, 2014 held at the UP Theater in Diliman, Quezon City.
Candidates from Brazil, Mongolia, Slovak Republic and Spain was part of the Top 8 finalists.
During the question and answer portion, Jamie really showed confidence with her answer.
“Global warming has been known to be a long, overdue issue. I will use my title to inspire others, help our environment, and we start with the kids. The kids are the people of tomorrow” answered Jamie about what will she do if she will win the crown and what will she do to reverse global warming.
She also won other awards such as Miss Earth Hannah’s Beach Resort, Miss Hannah’s Beach Resort’s Best in Swimsuit and Sun for Miss Earth Award.
Andrea Neu of USA won the Miss Earth Air title, Maira Alexandra Rodriguez of Venezuela won Miss Earth Water and Anastasia Trusova of Russia was crowned Miss Earth Fire.
