The crown has been passed from Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to Miss Universe 2016 Miss France Iris Mittenaere. Miss France bested all 85 contestants from all over the world. The Miss Universe was held at SM MOA Arena Monday (January 30, 2016).
Miss Colombia is 2nd runner up while Miss Haiti is 1st runner up.
