Monika was referring to Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach, Miss USA Olivia Jordan and Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez. Netizens took to social media their dismay over the statement made by Monika.
On her Instagram account, Monika apologized for her statement:
“I always strive to be the best, kindest person I can be. But what I said yesterday came out completely the wrong way and I want to sincerely apologise for that.
