Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago finally confirmed that Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is her chosen running mate in the 2016 election. During her book signing, Senator Santiago hinted that she will run for presidency and she already has chosen her vice president who she said has already filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC).
During her induction into the Philippine Judges Association Hall of Fame at Marriott Hotel, the senator was asked if Marcos is her running mate, she said ‘Yes.’
“I think we mutually chose each other—our two camps. They happen to cross each other. Telephone lines happen to cross each other. It’s coincidental. One camp was calling the other.” said the lady senator.
Senator Santiago has yet to file her CoC.
