Michelle and Ehra Madrigal’s father passed away

The dad of celebrity sisters Michelle and Ehra Madrigal passed away on Monday, March 5. The sisters announced it to the public on Thursday, March 8 on a separate post on their Instagram accounts.

Michelle posted a photo of her and dad, Gerry as she wrote on her caption, “This is how I wanna remember you… Sitting on your lap like I always did growing up, happy and content. This was taken on your 50th Bday celebration. Sayang ,we didn’t make it to your 60th next month.
I don’t even know where to start Dad, Ang hirap Kasi kakabalik ko Lang. I was only gone for 4 days then this happened… We had high hopes na uuwi ka na to recover but I guess God had other plans. I know he will be taking care of you up there.

I’m glad in that short amount of time we spent in the hospital, we still made memories.
I know you aren’t suffering anymore, but the thought of not hearing you say “Oh kamusta, miss ka na ng Daddy? Or Ingatan mo ang apo ko ah, love you” hurts.

The thought of you not walking me down the aisle on my wedding day hurts. Bec now it’s finally happening but you aren’t here.
The feeling of coming back to Manila will never be the same.
But til the end… you protected us from seeing you in such a way, maybe that’s why you waited til I left.
I felt your love & sincerity when you said “salamat umuwi ka para sakin”. We may not see each other anytime soon…. but One day!!! For now, please watch over us from Heaven.
Mahal na mahal Kita! Alam mo yan. #daddysgirl 🖤””
