The Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco said in an interview with Gulf News TV that he feels honored on designing Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera’s wedding gown.
“I’m so honored because I didn’t know that she likes my designs and she was a fan of my works,” shared the world class designer.
“One of her team [members] contacted me and asked me to do her wedding dress and I think it will be a big challenge for me because everyone is waiting for her dress and she is one of the most famous actresses in the Philippines” added Michael Cinco.
The designer told Gulf News TV that he did not have a hard time working with Marian upon deciding on the details for her wedding gown because they shared the same ideas.
“She gave me so many interesting ideas and I gave her my inputs [on] what are the best designs that would suit her, and we agreed immediately. It was very easy,” he said.
Michael Cinco is the first Filipino designer to be featured on the famous model search show ‘America’s Next Top Model’.
He have worked with international supermodels Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell. His clients are the likes of Hollywood stars Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, Sofia Vergara, Dita Von Teese, Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown and Mischa Barton.
