In an interview with Startalk, Melissa Mendez again narrated what really transpired during her trip to Pagadian aboard Cebu Pacific.
Melissa admitted that she requested that she be seated closer to the window seats (Seat 1A) as she wants to take some pictures of clouds as it eases her because she is suffering from panic disorder.
According to Melissa, Andrew Wolff and Rey Pamaran denied her request and threaten to hit her with a bag and said more harm will come her way once they reached Pagadian.

They were asked by the pilot to take their respective seats as the plane is about to take off.
When the plane was already airborne, Melissa requested the flight attendant if she (Melissa) can again talk to Andrew and Rey to clear things up but she was accused of having a bad breath that prompted her to slap Rey.
An altercation ensued and the pilot decided to bring the plane back to Manila and ordered Melissa to get off the plane.
Melissa said she was taken to the main office of Cebu Pacific and the person in-charge of the investigation was looking for the complainant. In cases like this said the person in-charge, the person being charged and the complainant should be present for investigation.
Melissa said the pilot over-reacted with the situation and was unfair because she was the only asked to get-off the plane.
