Kapamilya host-actor Marlo Mortel shared to everyone the main reason why he’s working hard in his career—and it’s because of his mom who is now battling with stage 3 cancer.
In an article published by Inquirer this Thursday (December 17, 2015), Marlo revealed her mom’s battle with cancer during the press conference of this year’s MMFF official entry “Haunted Mansion”.
“I’d do anything for her,” claimed Marlo.

The young actor also added that his 46-year-old mom, Merlie Pamintuan, already underwent mastectomy of her left breast. In addition, her mom finished her chemotherapy and radiation sessions and is now taking maintenance medication.
“We aren’t rich, but we’re steadily recovering from that now. I am working harder than ever to provide for my family. I go to work determined and focused, because I think of them,” said Marlo.
