Former actress Maribel Aunor defended her daughter’s group from the comments made by comedian Vice Ganda during his guesting stint on the said program’s July 2 and 3 episodes.
Her daughter Marion Aunor along with Marlo Mortel and Kaye Cal are members of the group “Team Power Chords” who sang their version of “Good Vibes” popularized by Vice.
Vice said the group performed well except for some part where the Unkabogable star felt was sang out of tune.
On her Facebook page, Marion expressed her disappointment over the comment and posted the following:
“After the performance of TresKantos , pls observe kung ano ang naging topic nila .Di pa rin nakuntento si Vice Ganda sa panglalait sa Teampowerchords, inopen pa ulit ang comment na sintonado at nakiayon naman ang ilang mentors like eric and kz at sabay sabay na ginawa nilang laughing stock ang group nila Marion , Marlo and Kaye Cal.
Tama po ba na magbiro ng ganito ? Is it right na di pa nakuntento manlait ng isang beses kaya sobrang sinisira nila ang singing career ng mga members ng grupo? Nag umpisa din naman sila sa ibaba. Huwag masyadong malasing sa tagumpay. God doesn’t blink. Everyone has its own time @WeloveOPm”
The former actress posted another message questioning the credibility of the comedian:
