GMA’s primetime queen Marian Rivera admits that she regrets giving up her role as Jade Tanchingco in the TV series “The Rich Man’s Daughter” due to her pregnancy.
In her television guesting on “Tonight with Arnold Clavio” last June 17, 2015, the Kapuso primetime queen said that it was not an easy decision to let go of the role.

“Well to be honest, naging mahirap para sa ‘kin, kasi pinaghandaan ko ito,” said Marian.
On the other hand, Marian explained that even though she regrets giving up the role, she loves the show and the cast. She also shared that she talked personally with Rhian Ramos who replaced her role on the said show.
“Mahirap para sa ‘kin. Kaya nga sabi ko sa pumalit sa akin (referring to Rhian), isa lang ang hiling ko, mahalin niya ‘yung show, kasi mahal ko ‘yung show,” added Marian.
