Presidential aspirant Mar Roxas explained in an interview the reason behind Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s decision to endorse him in the upcoming 2016 Presidential Elections.
During an interview with Lynda Jumilla on ANC program Beyond Politics last Wednesday (November 24, 2015), Mar clarified that the Kapamilya love team KathNiel did not receive any form of financial compensation from him.

Weeks ago, Daniel announced his support for the said presidential candidate which was followed by his on-screen partner, Kathryn. Their announcement, particularly that of Daniel’s, drew attention from netizens and caused commotion over social media.
Mar explained that Daniel–whose mom is originally from Tacloban–chose to support him in his candidacy after hearing about his efforts in helping the city recover after typhoon Yolanda.
