Maine Mendoza (aka Yaya Dub) was voted Favorite Pinoy Personality at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Maine bested other personalities like Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil and James Reid for the said title.
On its Facebook page, Nickelodeon posted a video of Maine’s thank you message:
“Thank you everyone for voting for me. This is such an honor. I really love to hold this orange blimp right now but since I’m away for vacation, maybe this will do, for now. I love you all” said Maine.
