In support of the Duterte administration’s war against illegal drugs in the country, actor and television host voluntarily submitted himself to a drug test by the Philippine National Police.
On Wednesday, August 31, Luis shared a photo of his drug results, which were done at the Crime Laboratory in the PNP National Headquarters at Camp Crame. Along the photo document which contains Luis’ drug test results, which proved he is free from any traces of illegal drugs, was Luis’ photo with Crime Laboratory’s head, Chief Trampe.

Luis wrote: “Drug test done in Camp Crame under Chief Trampe of the PNP Crime lab. PERO SA KAGWAPUHAN, POSTIVE DAW TALAGA AKO.”
Luis’ announcement also followed the news released by Star Cinema, ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, that it conducted a drug test for 40 of its talents, including Jake Cuenca, Enrique Gil, and Diego Loyzaga, who all tested negative. This was also and effort to clear the industry’s name from the allegations that several personalities are linked to the illegal drug trade, either as users or pushers.
