“Forevermore” lead stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil extended their support to award-winning director Cathy Garcia-Molina, who received hurtful comments and was greatly affected by the controversy involving her and two “Forevermore” talents—Alvin Campomanes and Rosellyn Domingo.
It can be remembered that over a week ago, director Cathy Garcia-Molina finally broke her silence addressing the issue of the open letter and admitted that she often cursed on the set during tapings but reiterated that she is not an evil person.

In an article published by The Philippine Star last Friday(January 22, 2016), Enrique felt sad that the director was judged by the public without first hearing her side of the story.
“Kasi ang tagal na no’n.That was like a year ago, tapos ngayon lang lumabas. Minsan may mga situations na mahirap intindihin ‘pag hindi… wala ka don. Hindi mo alam k ung ano talaga ang nangyari. So of course people who just hear of what happened, they judge,” Enrique said.
Liza on the other hand, somehow defended the said director and appealed that the talents who complained might not really know director Cathy.
“Kasi for me, I worked with her multiple times already so I knew Direk Cathy as a person. After the scene, when the scene is cut, she comes to us and hugs us, ‘very good, anak.’ Gano’n siya,” explained Liza.
Director Cathy was the one behind the hit prime time TV series “Forevermore” and now to their upcoming TV series “Dolce Amore.”
