Alhough the public will get to watch the full movie on January 2016, many expressed their excitement to meet the new panda characters from the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 3 as its trailer has already been unveiled.
In Kung Fu Panda 1, we met Po (voiced by Jack Black) who works in his family’s noodle shop but dreams of becoming a kung-fu master.
In Kung Fu Panda 2, his dream became a reality and he must fulfill an ancient prophecy with the Furious Five. Now, viewers have admired Po as the Dragon Warrior who protects the Valley of Peace.
However, with the appearance of a dangerous villain, Po finds it necessary to recall his past and unlock the secrets of his mysterious origins in order to defeat the new enemy. This left the audience a hint – Po’s family might not all be gone.
In Kung Fu Panda 3, we’ll meet his dad Li, voiced by Bryan Cranston. In the film, Li makes a promise to Po’s mom before she passed away that he would find Po.
New characters were also introduced on the trailer including Mei Mei, dubbed by ‘Pitch Perfect’ star Rebel Wilson.
