Actress Kris Aquino said that what she has become now is all because of her mom, the late president Corazon C. Aquino. The Queen of all Media paid tribute to her mom on her 83rd birthday (January 25, 2016).
On her Instagram account, Kris posted a photo message with the following message:
“5 AM wake up call tomorrow for work & because this version of the campaign won’t air for at least 6 months, I refrained from posting any pictures from today’s shoot… Tomorrow would have been our mom’s 83rd birthday. For all the times you’ve commented on my posts that you admire how much I love & prioritize my sons, when you’ve noticed that my siblings & I love & support each other, whenever you told me I was doing a good job sharing my blessings, when you saw how important prayer is in my life, for when you saluted my work ethic & how I treated my coworkers & employees, and for any other time you felt I was a good person- it’s because I am 1 of 5 very blessed children to have had Cory Aquino as a Mother. Happy Birthday to our Mom. 25 January 1933- 1 August 2009”
Corazon Aquino, also the mother of President Benigno Aquino III, died of colon cancer in 2009.
