Kris Aquino denies political plans for 2016 elections

After transferring her voter’s registration on Sunday (August 2, 2015) due to change of residency from Makati City to Quezon City, Kris Aquino says her transfer of registration does not mean that she will run for office in 2016 elections and reiterates that she has no political plans.

On her Instagram account, she shared a photo of her transfer form which shows that she is currently residing in Quezon City.

She said that she already signed endorsement contracts and running for any political position would be a violation of her contract so it is impossible.

Aside from change of residency, the TV host also needed to change her first name, last name, and civil status.

The Queen of All Media also interviewed Comelec officers during the registration process. She then vowed that she will help on the information campaign to convince the Filipinos to register and process their biometrics for the 2016 elections.
