With all the controversies surrounding the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television, an allegation that the trophies or the recognition can be bought is what keeping the industry under the watchful eyes of netizens or fans.
With her achievement, winning the Best Drama Actress of PMPC Star Awards for 2014, actress Kim Chiu did not escape criticisms and accusations that she bought her award.
At first, Kim defended herself through her official Twitter account saying that if one can really buy an award she should have bought one for herself in the past.
But in an interview with ‘Aquino and Abunda Tonight’ the young actress opened up about how she feels with the accusation.
“Off course I cannot please everybody, everyone, [we all look up on different people] , and [what we want is the best for that person we idolize]” after this statement, tears started to flow from Kim Chiu’s eyes.
This time, despite her cheerful personality, Kim gets emotional and can’t help it but cry because of the allegation.
She also shared that her on screen partner, Xian Lim, became very supportive and told her that she doesn’t have to worry about what other people think, what matters most is that the trophy is still hers.
Recently, Kim Chiu was dubbed the ‘Comedy Princess’ by her co-star in her latest movie ‘Past Tense’, the Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Wipe your tears now Kim Chiu, because as what the Comedy Queen herself dubbed you, being the Comedy Princess makes you amazing, a lady full of surprises and what’s important is you believe in yourself that you deserve that award.
