During the Senate inquiry on the late Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa death held Wednesday (November 23, 2016), Senator Panfilo Lacson asked Kerwin Espinosa to give light on the names of supposedly involved with the drug trade as mentioned in his father’s affidavit.

Kerwin cleared Mayor Gomez. “Hindi kaya ako barilin niyan? MAD (Mamamayan Ayaw sa Droga) yan. Wala ‘yang kaalam alam.”
In a statement, Mayor Gomez thanked his supporters and said that his alleged involvement was politically motivated.
