Veteran actress Karla Estrada, the mother of young actor Daniel Padilla, tried out for a spot in the second season of the ‘The Voice of the Philippines.’
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, host and entertainment writer, Ogie Diaz shared that Karla Estrada failed the audition.
Ogie also said that Karla tried out just for the experience.
In a report, one of the judges in the competition, Lea Salonga, was quoted saying to Karla after her blind audition, “I know you! I know you! What’s your name?”
The premiere of the the second season of the singing competition registered a nationwide television rating of 28.3 percent.
By the end of the first episode, the four coaches each managed to recruit one artist into their respective teams.
