Actress Julia Montes shrugs off rumors that her former co-star Coco Martin allegedly bought her a house as a gift but she confirmed that the new house that she bought is located at the same village as Coco.
On Tuesday’s (August 25, 2015) episode of the daily morning show Kris TV, the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, guest hosts Erich Gonzales and K Brosas asked Julia regarding her the status of her relationship with Coco.

While Julia was busy cooking, Erich asked her about the house she bought. Kris then remembered that the house Julia bought was located at the same village as Coco. Kris asked the young actress if she is aware about the rumors that Coco allegedly bought her a house as a gift.
The “Doble Kara” star clarified that she was the one who bought the house. She said, “Yes. Kasi nung nagka-work kami, bale naghahanap ako ng house. ‘Yung ka-batch ko before sa Goin Bulilit, si Hopia, Katrina Legaspi, may broker po sa family nila so inikot nila ‘ko dun. Sabi ko, sige pag-iisipan ko.”
“So nung nagwa-Wansa (Wansapanataym) taping kami ni Coco, nagtanong ako sabi ko, okay ba doon?” added Julia.
“Sabi niya, oo, tahimik, maaliwalas, mapuno. So ‘yun after ilang months nag-decide na po ako.”
The Queen of All Media then congratulated Julia for she has already bought two houses at the age of 20.
In a previous interview with the Kapamilya actress, she said that Coco inspired her to use her earnings from showbiz to buy and invest in properties.
Julia and Coco last worked together in “Wansapanataym Presents: Yamashita’s Treasures.” They also teamed up in the series “Walang Hanggan” and “Ikaw Lamang” and also starred in the movie “A Moment in Time.”
