(UPDATE) The young star broke her silence about the incident wherein she supposedly snubbed her father, Dennis Padilla, during the Dreamscape Christmas party last December 14, 2014.
Julia Barretto posted on her Twitter page her sentiments regarding the issue.
“THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for listening and understanding. Thank you for not being so quick to judge and for waiting for the whole truth before speaking too soon. I admire my fans’ maturity and how you handle situations like this with so much grace. THANK YOU for defending and protecting me. Times like this I draw so much strength from you all and I don’t know how else to show you guys how thankful I am. I hope this message is enough. I love you all. You guys have no idea” Julia posted on her Twitter account.
Julia Barretto supposedly snubs her Dad at an event
During the Dreamscape Christmas party last December 14, 2014, actor Dennis Padilla said that her daughter, Julia Barretto did not greet him at all.
Dennis shared with Pep that Julia was just two tables away from him.
Meanwhile, Julia’s mother, Marjorie Barreto defended her daughter through a phone interview with Pep.
Marjorie said that according to Julia, her daughter didn’t know that Dennis was going to be there. There were lots of people outside and she was alone.
Marjorie also stressed that Dennis knows Julia’s number and he could have just told Julia that he’d also be there so they could see each other.
