Actor Joshua Garcia shared his experience when he met Julia Barretto’s father Dennis Padilla. The said meeting happended during the celebration of Father’s Day.
In an interview with PEP, Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia detailed what went down when he met Julia Barretto’s father, comedian Dennis Padilla.
Joshua Garcia said that he met Dennis Padilla during Father’s Day, when they went to Tomas Morato to have dinner together with Julia. He said “Nung Father’s Day, magkasama sila, kasama ako dun. Nagkita-kita kami sa Morato, nag-dinner kami. Ipinakilala ako, nagka-bonding naman kami, tawanan kami agad.”

During the interview he revealed that he felt nervous as it was his first time meeting the comedian. Garcia also complimented Padilla saying that he was funny, nice, and approachable.
Joshua Garcia shared that Dennis Padilla asked him if he was courting his on-screen partner Julia Barretto, adding that he was pressured at first but gradually became comfortable with Padilla.
“Nakaka-pressure siya magtanong, pero habang tumatagal yung pag-uusap, napapalagay na ako. Same sila ng papa ko, sobrang simple lang, hindi sila ma-showbiz. Nagka-jive kami agad,” he said.
