Rising star Joshua Garcia has been constantly compared to actor John Lloyd Cruz because of the striking similarities they have in acting and even in behaving.
Garcia finally spoke about the issue in “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” saying he was “kinikilig” of the comparison with the seasoned actor but was hopeful he will be recognized as his own person.

“Kinikilig ako,” he said. “Honored ako, masaya ako, at darating naman ‘yong time na mare-recognize naman nila ako as Joshua Garcia,” he told Boy Abunda in the interview.
“Wala po akong babaguhin,” he added.
