Cavite Vice-Governor Jolo Revilla released an open letter paying tribute to his father, Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr. The senator is currently detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
On his Facebook page, Jolo praised his dad for being strong and for never giving up. Jolo also apologized for his shortcomings and encourages his dad that all their trials will soon be over.
Here is the letter of Jolo to his dad:
“Dear Papa,
In these challenging times, you stand up and never give up. With strength from the people and faith in God, you brave the most devastating storm of our life. This made me more inspired and proud for having you as my father. I want the whole world to know this open letter of mine.
In this special occasion, I pay tribute to you Papa. For with the love and undying support not only of mom and us your children but of the Filipino people, you truly deserve to be happy.
HAPPY, HAPPY FATHERS’ DAY!
Sorry for the shortcomings. Thank you for the understanding. I love you very much. I pray that vindication and resiliency will be so soon; all will be over and you will be back home.
