Months after rumors and speculations about his alleged split with longtime girlfriend Angelica Panganiban, award-winning Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz finally broke his silence and officially confirmed the breakup.
Through an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday (March 31, 2016), John Lloyd somewhat affirmed that he and Angelica have already parted ways by saying that he is very much single when asked by the press about his relationship status.

“Single na single. Wala naman pong nagbabago.”
John Lloyd was also asked about the speculated blossoming romace between him and his on-screen love team Bea Alonzo; wherein the 32-year-old actor shared that if ever he and Bea will develop a romantic relationship, his fans and supporters would be the first one to know.
“Kayo ang unang makakaalam. Atsaka pag ganun hindi naman dapat iyon nililihim o tinatago.Life is too short. You have to make every moment count. Sa edad kong to magtatago pa ba? Sila ‘JaDine’ nga umaamin, tayo pa ba? Nakakahiya naman kung magde-deny pa tayo.”
