Actor John Estrada admitted that he got hurt when his daughter Inah Estrada dropped his family name from her screen name. Inah Estrada is using the screen name Inah de Belen, from her mom Janice De Belen.
During his guesting on Tonight With Boy Abunda, John admitted he got hurt with the decision but later said he understands his daughter’s decision.

“At first I was hurt, Of course, it’s a dad’s instinct. I even told Gelli that and when my daughter called me, I said, ‘No way’. Pero inexplain naman ng management niya at naintindihan ko naman.” said John.
“Sa pagmahahal ko sa anak ko at sa ikakabuti ng anak ko ok lang sa akin kahit kalimutan pa nya apelyido ko.” added John.
