“Eat Bulaga” host Joey de Leon recently drew flak on social media after he posted a throwback vacation photo that allegedly had a shady caption.
In a photo on Instagram and Twitter, the Kapuso comedian shared to fans an old photo of him swimming in the Dead Sea. On his caption he wrote, “Nuknukan ka na ng katangahan pag sa DEAD SEA nalunod ka pa!”. After Joey posted it online, netizens then speculated that he was throwing shade to the late Hashtags member Franco Hernandez who died of drowning.

“It’s Showtime” host Teddy Corpuz then made a tweet online, that talked about an insensitive person. He wrote “Sana binigay mo na lng muna sa amin ang maipagluksa ang kaibigan at kapatid namin, kahit isang araw lang. kahit ngayon lang. Nakakalungkot ka po. Ipapag pray po kita na gabayan ka ng puong may kapal.”
Despite not name-dropping anyone, netizens speculated that Teddy was referring to Joey’s post online.
