Instead of a grand birthday bash to celebrate her 34th birthday, Filipina actress Jodi Sta. Maria opted to devote her time to help build homes in Bistekville, Quezon City.
Despite her tight schedule with the promotion of her film Achy Breaky Heart with Ian Veneracion and Richard Yap, Sta. Maria found the time to volunteer under the non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity.
Together with her son Thridy, some of her fans, and close friends, including her Pangako Sa’Yo co-star Dominic Roque, Sta. Maria spent the day building houses for the less-fortunate Filipino families.
