Actress Jennylyn Mercado will have a new leading man in the movie Walang Forever, an MMFF 2015 entry. JM de Guzman was dropped from the line-up and he will be replaced by Jericho Rosales.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Quantum Films producer Joji Alonzo confirmed the replacement but did not elaborate as to the reason for the casting change.
There have been reports that JM allegedly is having attitude problems to which his co-stars denied such allegations.
JM has also been involved in some controversies like the airplane incident involving Enqique Gil and Jessy Mendiola which led JM challenging Enrique in a mixed martial arts fight.
Despite rumors about their breakup, actress and girlfriend Jessy Mendiola maintains they are still together (JM and Jessy).
