Amidst all the “Darna” guessing games circulating on social media, Jessy Mendiola added to the confusion of netizens by sharing a photo of her resembling the teaser photo uploaded by veteran director Erik Matti on Wednesday (January 13, 2016).
On Jessy’s Instagram account on Thursday morning (January 14, 2016), the actress shared a photo of her wearing a gray hoodie which comes close to the “Darna” teaser photo.

The said photo tickled the minds of her followers; leaving them wondering of the possibility that Jessy will replace Angel Locsin in portraying the infamous role.
Through the comments section, Jessy clarified and affirmed that she will not be playing the role of Darna in its upcoming remake. The actress even played a joke on her followers by saying,
“hindi po ako yun. Malamig lang po. Sana pala nagblack hoodie nalang ako.”
As of the moment, Jessy is currently a part of the ABS-CBN primetime teleserye “You’re My Home.”
