Recently, news about the actress being no longer part of the “Banana Sundae” cast spread throughout, and rumors about her alleged spat with the show’s wardrobe assistant became a hot topic. Now, Mendiola admitted that the rumor was true, and she indeed had an argument with the said assistant.

In an interview with “Tonight with Boy Abunda”, the actress revealed that the rumor was true and said, “Totoo po na merong misunderstanding na nangyari sa akin saka sa wardrobe at that time…”
She explained, “May kanya-kanya siguro tayong traits na hindi natin alam na nakaka-offend sa ibang tao. So nung time na yun, I’m not sure if I was being overly sensitive or siguro talagang nung time na yun feeling ko may maling nagawa sa akin. I got offended… but it’s all settled now. He said sorry to me. He apologized and I gladly accepted his apologies naman.”
