Because Jennylyn Mercardo and Derek Ramsay are currently single, are they going to be part of the famous lonely singles club this Christmas or also known as SMP?
During the press conference for the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, ‘English Only Please’ last December 2, 2014, the major characters from the film, Jennylyn and Derek shared that they are not losing hope for love.
According to them, while filming the said movie, they have created a bond and became closer with each other.
Derek shared that during his time of struggles, he ask Jennylyn for advises, according to him a lot of what Jennylyn advised him helped him cleared up and see through things in a positive way.
And if there is one thing they could advise to each other about love, Derek and Jennylyn shared it with the media.
“Don’t close your doors” Derek said to Jennylyn.
“Whatever it is that you’ve gone through [ with love ], you should take the positive out of that and learn from those things that you’ve experienced which only makes it more exciting for the next person that you’re going to be with,” he added.
Meanwhile Jennylyn said “God will always be there, he will guide you to the right path and to the right person, she or he will arrive at the right place at the right time”.
Perhaps what they have said is not just applicable for them but also to all of us.
