Actors Jennylyn Mercado and Coco Martin were the big winners in the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Music and Television 2016 held last Sunday, October 23.
Jennylyn won the Best Drama Actress award for her performance in “My Faithful Husband” while Coco received the Best Drama Actor award for his performance in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

This year’s Star Awards was dominated by ABS-CBN’s shows, highlighted by the win of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” as Best Primetime Drama Series. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN 2 was named Best TV Station.
