Actress Nadine Lustre said she is open to play the role of “Darna” if in case the iconic role will be offered to her. Nadine made the statement during the opening of Paper Moon Cafe Philippines.
In an interview with MJ Felipe (Bandila), Nadine she is willing to play the role but she should be given ample time to prepare:
Of course I want, gusto ko po syemre kasi Darna yun din ba? It is a privillege na maging Darna ka. Bigyan lang nila ako ng gym time. Bigyan nila ako ng time mag train.”

But Nadine clarified that there is no formal offer yet.
