Actor Jake Cuenca confirmed the report that he walked-out during a taping of “Gandang Gabi Vice”. Jake is supposed to promote his upcoming show “Pasion de Amor.”
The reason behind the walk-out is when Jake saw his former girlfriend in the audience. Jakes former girlfriend is Filipino-Australian model Chanel Olive Thomas, who is one of the 41 candidates in this year’s Miss Philippines-Earth.
In an interview with ABS-CBN TV Patrol Mario Dumawal, Jake said he simply did what every gentleman would do – not to put her former girlfriend in a compromising situation.
“Nagulat ako. Siyempre bago tinawag ang mga pangalan namin, pagsilip ko sa pintuan, nakita ko ‘yung ex ko. Nandoon kasi lahat ng candidates ng Miss Earth. I just didn’t want to put my ex-girlfriend in that situation” said Jake.
Chanel for her part said its no big deal for her to be with Jake on the same place because it has been years that they have separated and she has moved on already.
Jake said he already apologized to Vice Ganda for the said incident. Jake is currently in a relationship with model Sara Grace Kelley.
