With Kobe Paras committing to play collegiate basketball for the prestigious University of California at Los Angeles, Jackie Forster is a proud mother.
Kobe Paras and Kapuso actor Andre Paras are Jackie’s son with her former partner, PBA player, Benjie Paras.
In a recent post on her Instagram account, Jackie shared how happy she is and how genetics played a big part on Kobe’s achievement.
“The bigger he gets the more credit I will get. I have majority stakes in his genetic makeup. The basketball yes from his father but athleticism will also come from me!” the former actress said in her post.
She also wrote, “Most importantly look at that face. He looks nothing like his father. The audience in the US are not as narrow minded as those judgemental ones in the Philippines so those people will not deny me as his mother. I am a US citizen that was denied my rights as a mother in the Philippines. I hope his father realizes this will all come to haunt them soon enough. So stop being immature. I’m proud of my son. One day he will come to realize how much I loved them. All that I sacrificed all the pain just so they had their ‘peace.’ Benjie won’t understand this. Even if he opened a Websters Dictionary neither his wife.. they know nothing about unconditional love. Everything has been conditional. And F.Y.I. I named him Kobe and I see that was an excellent decision. God is watching.”
The actress also stressed that when she became a mother with Kobe and Andre, she became responsible and be the best mother that she can be.
Jackie also want’s to let Andre and Kobe know that she will always love them with all her heart.
