Basketball fans womdering and asking if basketball superstar James Yap is moving from his Purefoods (now Star Hotshots) team to join Manny Pacquiao team – Kia Carnival?
Speculations about the transfer started when James posted a photo of himself with a Kia K9 beside him. The luxury car is worth 5 million pesos. The photo comes with a caption:
“Thank you Kia Philippines for my new Kia K9!”
But in a report by Snow Badua of website Spin, Columbia Autocar Corporation president and KIA team governor Ginia Domingo said James is simply test-driving the K9.
James Yap also clarified the issue :
“Parang luxury ambassador lang. Pero walang commitment outside of the use ng car. Kasi sabi nga nila, puro sports people daw kasi gusto maging associated sa K9, parang si LeBron (James). Kaya okay naman.” ” said James.
