Cecilia Ongpauco, the mother of actress Heart Evangelista is supporting the candidacy of Senator Miriam Defensor Dantiago for President in 2016. Ms. Ongpauco was seen at the meet and greet event of Senator Miriam at the UP Bahay ng Alumni in Diliman, Quezon City.
“I’m here to support the candidate who is running for the highest position, Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago” Cecilia Ongpauco said.
Senator Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero, Ongpauco’s son in law is running for the vice presidency with Senator Grace Poe running for President in 2016.
Ongpauco attended the vice presidential bid of Senator Escudero but she did not attend the presidential announcement of Senator Grace Poe.
