Heart Evangelista first graced the television screens with her role as ‘Missy Sandejas’ in the popular teen-oriented show ‘G-Mik’ by ABS-CBN, in which she starred alongside Camille Prats, John Prats, Angelica Panganiban, Carlo Aquino, and Danilo Barrios to name a few.
The show, which aired in the late 90s, became Heart’s start in the entertainment industry. Almost a decade later, Heart is now not only known as one of the most successful actresses in the Philippines but also as an entrepreneur and painter.

The original Chinita princess reminisced her 18 years in showbiz with a throwback photo that she shared on her Instagram account last August 22, Monday. In the photo’s caption, Heart wrote that being true to herself as “kikay” or “maarte” gal helped her land the role of ‘Missy’.
