The .40 Glock pistol that Jolo Revilla was reportedly cleaning when he accidentally shot himself has been turned over to the Muntinlupa Police.

According to the family’s lawyer, Atty. Raymond Fortun, the gun and the used bullet casing was surrendered to Senior Superintendent Allan Nobleza, chief for ballistics examination, last March 4, 2015.

The handgun is registered under the provincial government of Cavite at the Firearms and Explosives Office with an expiration date of March 31, 2015.

Reports said Jolo attempted to commit suicide last February 28, 2015, but this was denied by Atty. Fortuna, saying that the shooting was just accidental.

Until now, Jolo is confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.
