On the second part of her interview with Mareng Winnie Monsod in her program Bawal ang Pasaway kay Mareng Winnie, Governor Vilma Santos was candid and honest enough to admit that her husband Senator Ralph Rector cheated on her once.
Mareng Winnie asked Gov. Vilma if there was a time her husband cheated on her, Vilma said ‘Yes, once’.

According to Vilma, her rule is simple – if he (Ralph) is going to cheat on her, he better be honest because sooner or later she will found out about it.
Vilma added that being a celebrity, Ralph will easily be recognized and cannot hide the fact the he is the husband of actress Vilma Santos. So it would be difficult for Ralph to hide any secrets from her given her popularity.
Mareng Winnie then ask what happen after Ralph’s admission. ‘I forgive him’ said Vilma. ‘Why?’ asked Mareng Winnie. ‘Because he was honest’ was the short answer of Governor Vilma.
