After making two television appearances on Kapamilya shows–namely KrisTV and Kapamilya Deal or No Deal–fans have been speculating whether Gawad Urian Best Actress Gelli de Belen will make a homecoming in ABS-CBN anytime soon.
In an interview with Boy Abunda on “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” Gelli speaks about her future career plans with the station.
“Nothing is official yet. Basta ganito lang, abangan niyo nalang next year, maybe? In 2016, there’ll be new things happening to me, but of course, nothing is final yet”

When asked why she gave her acting career a break, she said,
“Nag-concentrate talaga ako sa hosting. Of course, through the years I also did soaps sa mga kinaroroonan ko noon. Hindi niyo lang napapanood siguro,”
In addition, Gelli affirms that given the opportunity, she would love to do a drama series. Also, she looks forward to having a reunion project with sister Janice de Belen and best friend Carmina Villaroel in the near future.
