After bloggers called out “Bagani” star Sofia Andres for allegedly behaving inappropriately during press conferences, the former president of the National Press Club (NPC) Benny Antiporda seconded their claims and called the actress “bastos”.
In a story published by Pep.ph, a Facebook post showed Antiporda’s personal experience with Sofia when his 10-year-old daughter asked for a picture with her.

He wrote: “HABITUAL BASTOS. Bastos talaga itong babaeng ito and I can attest to that, binastos din nyan ang anak ko sa SM Baguio.At that time asungot palang sya sa teleserye ni Liza Soberano. Nag-umpisa pa lang sya noon bastos na, ngayon pa kaya?”
“My daughter was 10 yrs old at that time.Requesting for a picture with her, with a high tone and in a rude manner she said, ‘Nagmamadali ako.’”
“After a brief walk in SM nakita lang namin sila ng lalakeng kasama nya na naglalambingan and that’s it. Imagine 10 yrs old!!!”
Antiporda already deleted the post from his timeline but he stood by his claims against the actress after sharing a Facebook post by a entertainment writer who criticized Sophia and wrote in the caption: ” HABITUAL BASTOS TALAGA ”
