VIVA Films mounts another production of epic proportion as it encases the Felix Manalo life story tagged for release in theaters nationwide on October 7, 2015 under the direction of award-winning Joel Lamangan.
Led by multi-talented actor-singer Dennis Trillo in the role of Felix Manalo, the First Executive Minister of Iglesia ni Cristo, and Bela Padilla as Honorata, Ka Felix’s wife, the historical motion picture traces the origins and progress of the INC church from its early stages in 1914 up to the present day.
It is outlined by the life of Felix from the moment of his birth in 1886 until his demise in 1963.
It took the production team 57 days involving extensive research, through the accommodation of INC, to create intricate production sets and costumes that replicate particular time periods portrayed in the movie.
The movie relays Ka Felix’s trials and hardships in his search for the true faith. It showcases how one man can overcome challenges about his love of God.
It evolves in a multiple love stories: Ka Felix and his faith in God, Ka Felix and Honorata, and Ka Felix and Iglesia ni Cristo.
The star-studded movie also includes Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Concepcion, Richard Yap, Mylene Dizon, Yul Servo and more.
